Sediment Flocculations

Sediment Flocculation

AquaKLEAR promotes flocculation without chemicals

Traditionally, technologies to promote sediment flocculation or to improve the filtering of sediment or suspended particles is done using chemical flocculants, however AquaKLEAR changes all this.  AquaKLEAR is able to provide a continuous flocculation effect by charging suspended particles and causing them to clump into flock without the need for these expensive chemicals.

AquaKLEAR - P Series units helps improve flocculation on facility swimming pools, spas, fountains, ponds, and cooling towers, or any facility equipment where filtering is used.  The improved flocculation effect is actually a prime factor relating to many of the other sub-benefits being achieved by AquaKLEAR-P units, including algae control and bacteria control.

AquaKLEAR:

  • Creates a powerful and continuous flocculation effect.

  • Improved flocculation provides less frequent maintenance cycles and reduces back-washing time by keeping sediment material closer to the top of the filter.

  • Bio-matter which does not imbed as deeply into the filter is less likely to produce formation of bacteria and the resulting harmful chemical compounds created by bacteria interaction with disinfectants.

  • Shorter back-wash cycles means less make-up water to replenish and reheat, and thereby reduces the energy consumption used to reheat the make-up water.

  • Will provide crystal clear water, free from cloudy chlorine or chemical fogging.

  • Controls or prevents lime, mineral, and algae staining on treated systems.

  • Will remove limescale (descale) the entire system in most cases. (see "descale")

  • Continues to keep limescale from forming within the system.

  • Keeps equipment operating at peek efficiency.

  • Eliminates costs associated with chemicals used to promote flocculation.

  • Lowers costs associated with chlorine treatment by converting chloramines to free chlorine.

  • Reduces scheduled back-wash time and cycles on filter equipment.  Often systems being backwashed weekly can reduce backwash cycles 4 to 8 times the normal cycle.  Your pressure gage will readily confirm this.
