Fuel Economy Ltd. - Manufacturer of Savastat Products

With 25 years of experience in the heating and controls industries it was recognized that an opportunity existed to reduce fuel consumption through gas and oil fired boilers and that the greatest potential for saving energy was from the existing installed stock of boilers. A control dedicated to energy saving, without loss of service and capable of being easily retro-fitted to any boiler was conceived. Savastat Boiler Controls were first manufactured by Fuel Economy Ltd. in early 1991, and marketed as the Savastat LC product line.

Since then, FEL has developed additional products which also reduce energy consumption in direct fired water heaters (Savastat HW).

Government Seal of Approval - Diana Maddock (English Member of Parliament) whose Energy Bill became law in 1995 commented during a visit to the Fuel Economy Limited factory, "This Bill lays the foundations of a comprehensive strategy for the UK for the first time. I am delighted that Fuel Economy Ltd. have developed Savastat controls specifically to meet the objectives of my Bill and reduce energy consumption in every building".
